We arrived in DC after noon and drove around looking for the hotel. We first wanted to sightsee but could not find a place to park. So we decided to look for our hotel and to see if we could check in and then do a walking tour. We did check in and found out we were not far from the White House, Washington Monument, and of course the Vietnam Veterans Wall. So we set out on a walk. We walked about 4 miles on our tour of DC.
